A Lei federal 14.017/2020, conhecida como Lei Aldir Blanc, tem como objetivo central estabelecer ajuda emergencial para artistas, coletivos e empresas que atuam no setor cultural e atravessam dificuldades financeiras durante a pandemia.

Em homenagem ao compositor e escritor Aldir Blanc, que morreu em maio, vítima da Covid-19, o projeto vem para socorrer profissionais e espaços da área que foram obrigados a suspender seus trabalhos durante o período de isolamento social.

As ações emergenciais previstas na Lei Aldir Blanc atendem aos trabalhadores da cultura, aos espaços artísticos e culturais, microempresas e pequenas empresas culturais, cooperativas, instituições e organizações culturais comunitárias que tiveram suas atividades interrompidas por força das medidas de distanciamento social para o controle da pandemia da Covid-19.

No dia 29 de maio de 2022, a Administração Municipal, através da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo, promoveu o lançamento dos livros dos escritores ibertioganos Elaine Vieira e Pábulo Eduardo dos Reis Vargas.

No livro “Meninas Também Vestem Azul”, de Elaine Vieira, a autora descreve sobre assuntos relacionados a preconceito, religiosidade e determinação.

Já a obra de Pábulo Eduardo dos Reis Vargas, “Memórias de um Poeta de Ibertioga”, foi uma edição feita para homenagear o pai, Eduardo Vargas, que escreveu as poesias que compõem o livro. Ele sempre teve o sonho de tê-las registradas, sendo assim, seu filho dedicou-lhe a homenagem.

A edição dos livros “Meninas Também Vestem Azul” e “Memórias de um Poeta de Ibertioga” é resultado do auxílio emergencial repassado aos setores culturais municipais através da Lei Aldir Blanc, com apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo.
